Why is PET/PE the default for coffee?
It balances print quality, seal strength, and barrier performance. Adding MET-PET or foil middle layer extends oxygen protection for whole-bean coffee.
Is PET/PE recyclable?
Multi-layer laminates are difficult to recycle in curbside streams. Mono-PE or store-drop-off programs are alternatives if recyclability is a core brand claim.
